Spa Policies and Guest Experience
Welcome to The Spa at Salishan, where your comfort, relaxation, and well-being are our highest priorities. To help ensure a peaceful and restorative environment for all, we’ve outlined a few guidelines covering arrival times, amenities, health and safety, and more. Whether you’re here for a single service or a full day of renewal, these details will help you make the most of your spa experience. Arriving at The Spa
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation if you plan on changing into a robe and sandals. As a courtesy to the next guest and our staff, please note that late arrivals will end as previously scheduled without a reduction in price. Early check-ins are welcome as most services include up to 2 hours of complimentary spa use. Please remember to silence all cell phones at check-in and note that photography is not permitted inside the locker rooms.
Spa Amenities
As an adults-only facility, entry is limited to those 18 and older. While clothing is optional in the locker rooms, robes or swimsuits are required in the communal areas. To maintain a peaceful and safe atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to speak softly, silence electronic devices, rinse off before entering the hot tubs, and dry off afterward to help prevent slipping.
Spa Services
Except for salon services, your provider will respectfully leave the room to allow you privacy as you prepare and settle under the draping. While we strive to anticipate your needs, please feel comfortable speaking up so we can make any adjustments necessary. Please note that inappropriate behavior or language may result in the termination of your treatment.
Food and Beverage
Per Oregon laws and regulations, food, alcohol, and glass containers are strictly prohibited in the spa without exception. Complimentary tea and water are available, with select local Kombucha Teas and CBD Seltzers available for purchase. Personal water bottles are welcome in the spa.
Change and Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to all, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. For four or more services, we ask for 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice may be charged in full to help protect the time and efforts of our team.
Changes include rescheduling, switching providers or services, or transferring a service to another guest—even if it’s a similar offering. Our team prepares in advance, and last-minute changes require system updates and schedule adjustments that can disrupt the flow of the day.

Health and Safety | Covid-19 Policy
To protect the health and well-being of our guests and team, we kindly ask that you postpone your visit if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, including cold, flu, or COVID-19, or if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days. Disposable masks are for any guest who prefers to wear one.
Accessibility and Care
We understand that everyone’s needs are different, and that physical, mental, or emotional challenges can change from day to day. While our team is happy to support you where we can, we do ask that guests are able to move through the spa on their own, including getting on and off treatment tables and using amenities like the hot tub. For your comfort, we offer ADA-accessible restrooms, showers, and lockers, as well as a self-service chair lift for our outdoor hot tub.
Pregnancy and Medical
If you’re pregnant, taking medication, or have any health concerns, please let us know when booking your service. Certain treatments may carry risks or have contraindications, and we want to ensure your experience is safe and supportive. We recommend consulting your physician.
Allergies and Sensitivities
We strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for all guests. While we offer a variety of unscented and hypoallergenic products and make every effort to minimize strong scents in our space, we understand that some individuals have complex allergies or sensitivities. If you have any specific concerns, please let us know at the time of booking so we can accommodate your needs to the best of our ability, both in the treatment room and shared spaces.
Service Providers and Special Requests
All treatments are provided by licensed professionals trained to deliver thoughtful, personalized care. If you have a preference for a specific provider or gender, please let us know when booking so we can do our best to accommodate your requests. Last-minute requests cannot be guaranteed. We’re dedicated to matching you with someone who supports your comfort and well-being.
Pricing and Gratuities
All prices and services are subject to change. Spa services include complimentary access to the spa amenities before or after your service unless otherwise stated by spa staff. Stand alone spa passes may be purchased the same day and are subject to availability and space. A 20% gratuity will be added to all services at checkout; additional gratuities are welcome and appreciated.
Products and Refunds
Refunds or exchanges may be issued for services or unopened products within 14 days when accompanied by a receipt. All charges are confirmed at checkout, but if something doesn’t look right, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you. If commissions and gratuities have already been processed, a spa credit may be offered instead, when appropriate. Credits are not
Business Practices and Sanitation
The Spa at Salishan is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. We strictly follow all guidelines set forth by the Oregon Health Authority, Oregon State Board of Massage Therapists, Oregon State Board of Cosmetology, and other applicable regulatory agencies. Treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each guest, and common areas are refreshed throughout the day by our dedicated spa team.
