ONE

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 15

Play your tee shot towards the fairway bunker on the right.  A conservative second shot to the middle of the green should set you up for a great start to your round.  In the summer, this hole typically plays downwind so approach shots have less spin and require less club.

TWO

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 9/15

A straight shot is essential on this uphill par 4. You will not need the longest club in your bag as the fairway bunkers are in play from all tees.  Take enough club on the second shot to reach the putting surface.

THREE

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 3/11

Long hitters can reach the hidden creek that crosses the fairway. Play a fade towards the left side to open up the second shot.  Going too far right may mean tree trouble.  Second shots are deceptively uphill, so take enough club to carry the bunkers and reach the green.

FOUR

PAR: 3
HANDICAP: 5/3

Unfelt on the tee, the summer winds will affect shots as the ball nears the green.  This par 3 can play longer than the yardage.  Take enough club, swing smoothly to reduce the backspin and aim for the center of the green.  Bogeys await those who miss the putting surface.

FIVE

PAR: 5
HANDICAP: 17/13

This par 5 plays into the summer wind and requires a precise tee shot down the middle.  Second shots play longer than the yardage.  Those trying to get home in two must carry the bunker fronting the green.  Prudent players will lay up and then take an extra club on the approach.

HOLE NUMBER

SIX

PAR: 3
HANDICAP: 13/17

The summer wind blows from left to right on this par 3, so play your tee shot towards the left side of the green.  The yardage is true, so trust it and your swing. There is plenty of green behind the bunker in the front.

SEVEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 1/1

From this tee, play a draw that starts towards the bunker.  Shorter hitters should start towards the right side; although farther away from there, the green will be visible.  Take enough club on the uphill approach.  The bunkers on the left appear to be greenside, but are actually well short.

EIGHT

PAR: 5
HANDICAP: 15/7

This long, sweeping dogleg right plays into the summer wind and requires a tee shot left of center. The shorter the tee shot, the further left you want to be.  Play your second shot down the center of the fairway.  A good lay-up will leave you with an easy pitch to the green.

NINE

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 7/9

On this downhill dogleg left, aim tee shots over the bunker. Longer hitters can easily reach the corner, while shorter hitters should play to the right center.  The downhill second shot plays much shorter than the yardage.  If the pin is back, be sure to get the ball back to it.

HOLE NUMBER

TEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 7/9

This short par 5 plays into the summer wind and longer than the yardage, but long hitters can get home in two.  Start your tee shot at the bunker on the right and gently work it to the center of the fairway.  Then lay up well left of the water for an easy approach.  Avoid the bunkers on the left and fronting the green.

ELEVEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 10/10

The summer winds cause this deceptively difficult par 3 to play longer than the yardage, so take 1-2 more clubs, especially if the pin is in the back.  Try not to lose your shot to the left as that area is all protected wetland.

HOLE NUMBER

TWELVE

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 4/4

This par 4 is defined by the waste area that wanders along the entire right side of the fairway. Play tee shots to the left side for a clear view of the green.  The same waste area defends the green, so be sure to carry it on your approach shot.

THIRTEEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 2/8

This gentle dogleg left is framed by the coastal pines left and sand features right.  Play your tee shot down the right center of the fairway for an open approach.  One bunker defends the left side of this flat green.  Second shots can play a 1/2-club shorter than the yardage.

HOLE NUMBER

FOURTEEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 8/2

On this straightforward hole, drive the ball to the left center of the fairway, away from the coastal pines left and bunkers right. Longer hitters should play more toward the center to avoid running through the left side of the fairway. Play your approach to the center of this well-protected green.

HOLE NUMBER

FIFTEEN

PAR: 3
HANDICAP: 14/18

This par 3 plays straight downhill, but into the summer wind, making club selection difficult.  If the wind is up, it can play up to 3 clubs longer.  If you miss, miss left as the green's right and back sides are surrounded by waste area. A lone bunker fronts the green.

HOLE NUMBER

SIXTEEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 7/9

On this short, straight downwind par 4, a 200-yard tee shot to the center of the fairway is all you need. The second shot is downwind and will not have much spin, releasing when it hits the green, so back off the tee for a fuller approach.  Avoid the two bunkers fronting the green.

HOLE NUMBER

SEVENTEEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 18/16

You can drive the green on this classic risk/reward hole but two bunkers stand in your way.  The prudent tee shot is to the left side, leaving a pitch down the length of the green and a chance for an up-and-down birdie.  Shots just short or over the green are difficult to recover from.

EIGHTEEN

PAR: 4
HANDICAP: 6/6

On this dogleg left finishing hole, aim tee shots at the gable of Salishan Coastal Lodge, avoiding bunkers on the right.  Longer hitters should aim left of this line; shorter hitters right.  A large bunker guards the elevated green's right side.  Shots from the left side will come in, allowing you to run up your approach.
