GOLF CLUB POLICIES
Salishan Golf Links values the utmost enjoyment of all its members and guests. The club has established rules of conduct that apply to everyone to maintain a positive and safe environment. These rules ensure all members and guests have the best possible experience while using the club facilities. Any violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action, which management will determine.
GOLF CLUB POLICIES
DRESS CODE
The following dress code policy applies to users of the golf course only. It does not apply to users of the driving range, putting green, or Clubhouse:
- Collared shirt must be worn. The shirt must be tucked in
- Golf pants or shorts are welcome. Denim is strongly discouraged
- Headwear must be worn forward
- Closed-toed shoes are required, sandals & flip flops are not allowed
- Metal spikes are strictly prohibited
BOOKING STANDARD TEE TIMES
Standard tee times may be booked up to 30 days in advance by members, lodge guests, and the public. A full name, email, phone number, and valid credit card are required to hold all reservations and are subject to the cancellation/no-show policy described below.
BOOKING PREMIUM TEE TIMES
Premium tee times may be booked further in advance than 30 days for an additional charge of $30 per person. The greens fees for these premium reservations must be paid when booking and are non-refundable. A full name, email, phone number, and valid credit card are required to hold all reservations and are not subject to the cancellation/no-show policy described below.
BOOKING GROUP/EVENT TEE TIMES
For tournaments, group outings, and other events, please email golf@salishan.com to secure your date on our Club’s calendar. A full name, email, phone number, and valid credit card are required to hold all reservations. A final player count/guarantee is due 72 hours before the event day unless specified otherwise in the event contract.
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Standard tee times may be canceled up to 12 hours in advance with no penalty. Any cancellations or no-shows inside of the 12-hour window will result in a charge equal to half of the public greens fee amount for the number of occupied tee time slots. This policy does not apply to premium tee time bookings and groups/event bookings.
RAIN CHECKS
Inclement weather is a normal occurrence on the Oregon Coast. No refunds or rain checks will be given for rain, wind, cold temperatures, or other normal weather events. Exceptions may be permitted if the weather becomes dangerous such as lightning, or hazardous such as poor air quality.
CHECKING-IN
All golfers must check in to the Clubhouse prior to teeing off. This helps ensure that proper attire is worn and that all golfers in the group are paid and accounted for in the tee sheet. This includes both members and the public.
GOLF CART POLICY
Electric golf carts may be reserved in advance during the reservation. To operate an electric golf cart, golfers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Ride-a-longs are permitted for an additional fee based on golf cart availability (at the Pro Shop’s sole discretion). Golf carts are for the use of golfers only and are not to be taken off the golf course property for any reason.
PRIVATE GOLF CARTS
Private golf carts are permitted on the golf course with proof of valid golf cart insurance, a valid driver’s license, and approval by the Pro Shop (based on golf cart appearance). If approved, a trail fee must be paid to the Pro Shop before the start of the round. Private golf carts are subject to the same on-course and off-course restrictions as Salishan’s fleet of golf carts.
